ROUND U BOLT
A U-Bolt is a U-shaped bolt with two threaded arms from a curved base. U-bolts are useful for attaching pipes to machines. The properly installed U-bolt eliminates any flexing of the leaf spring in the area between the U-bolt. This is particularly critical since the hole for the center bolt in each leaf acts as a stress concentration which would lead to rapid leaf breakage if spring flexing was not totally eliminated by the U-bolt clamping force.
SQUARE U BOLT
A U-Bolt is a U-shaped bolt with two threaded arms from a curved base. U-bolts are useful for attaching pipes to machines, square-shaped U-Bolts are primarily used for lumber applications. Indiana Anchor Bolt carries this product in stainless and carbon steel.
